NARASIMHAR JAYANTHI TO BE PERFORMED AT SRI LAKSHMI NARAYANAN TEMPLE IN KAPPUR ON  APRIL 30

We are pleased to inform that Narasimhar Jayanthi would be performed on April 30 this year at 5.00 pm at our Sri Lakshmi Narayanan Thirukovil (temple) in Kappur village, which is situated adjacent to Villupuram district in Tamil Nadu. It is pertinent to note that a special Thirumanjanam would be performed for the almighty Lakshmi Narasimhar. The people from various walks of life and devotees are requested to grace the function enmass and seek the blessings of Lord Narasimhar, besides, Perumal, Thayar and other gods and goddesses.

We are also sending below a brief history of our temple.

The renowned Sri Lakshmi Narayanan Thirukovil (temple) is situated at village Kappur, adjacent to Villupuram district in Tamil Nadu. On the banks of the Thenpennai river are ‘Divya Kshetrams’(holy temples) of  Thirukovalur, Padhur and Parikal. For several centuries, the residents of Kappur have been worshipping at “Sri Lakshmi Narayanan Thirukovil” with renewed vigour and utmost enthusiasm. It is pertinent to note that the Azhwars, H.H. 42nd, 43rd and 45th Jeers of Sri Ahobila Mutt had performed Mangalasasanam in the past. Importantly, the 46^th Jeer of Sri Ahobila Mutt had visited our temple with his team and blessed the devotees.
