Sri 46th Azagiya Singer was kind enough to pay a visit to our temple ‘SRI LAKSHMINARAYANA TEMPLE’, situated at Kappur village, adjacent to Vilupurm district in Tamil Nadu on January 4, this year, sharp at 4.00 pm and offered his worship by performing Mangalasasanam and Dolotsavam. Seer was accompanied by his disciples, besides his array of devotees from the adjacent Padur village in Kallakurchi district, where he would be stationed till January 13 this year.
A large number of people thronged the venue and paid their respects to Seer, besides seeking his blessings. The residents of Kappur, too, gave a red-carpet welcome to the Seer and by receiving him with warmth and affection. Our renowned temple had earlier witnessed Mangalasasanam of the 42, 43 and 45th Azhagiya Singar. Our age-old temple is situated in between ‘Tirukovilur’, ‘Padur’ and ‘Perumbakkam’. Needless to say, we had incurred a sizeable expenditure for organising such a huge event.
We are indeed delighted that we could organise it with the help of the Almighty for a noble cause. Under the circumstances, we shall be grateful, if the devotees and the people in general could be in a position to donate funds according to their capacity to meet our expenses, as small drop makes an occasion.
