I’m very fortunate to take part in this Shashthi Poorthi celebrations. I would like to describe a few qualities of His Holiness Sri Paravakottai Chinna Andavan. The first and foremost is his simplicity. A very simple and humble personality whom anyone can approach and ask questions or doubts in the Sampradayam.
The second is the reach Swami has. His public reach is excellent. He enquires everyone about their antecedents, parampara and takes personal interest in solving their problems.
The third is his adjustable personality. Adiyen was fortunate enough to travel with HH to Badrinath and back and could experience his souseelyam. Sometimes, we had to leave in the night and reach in the morning and vice versa. Whatever it was taking into consideration the comfort of all the devotees, HH adjusted himself although without any compromise in his personal anushthanams.
The fourth is his style of communication – very simple and easy such that even an illiterate pamara can also understand very well.
The fifth is his vidvat pakshapatam. Honouring scholars and students whenever there is an opportunity with shawls, certificates etc.
The sixth is his interest in the youth – the upcoming generation is simply unmatchable. HH conducts and organizes camps for students and encourages them with certificates and mantrakshatai.
HH strictly follows his daily routine anushthanams. Even though there is a delay in the journey, HH does not compromise on Nitya karma anushthanams just like his illustrious predecessor Srimad Paravakottai Periya Andavan.
Adiyen prays sincerely to Srirangam Divya Dampatis that HH should keep on blessing us while guiding people on the spiritual path and celebrate his Shatamana Utsavam too in a grand manner
