The detail of our temple has been mentioned below briefly.
The fabulous Sri Lakshmi Narayanan Thirukovil (temple) is situated at village Kappur, adjacent to Villupuram district in Tamil Nadu. On the banks of the Thenpennai River are ‘Divya Kshetrams’ (holy temples) of Thirukovalur, Padhur and Parikal. For several centuries the residents of Kappur have been worshipping at “Sri Lakshmi Narayanan Thirukovil” with renewed vigour and utmost enthusiasm. It is pertinent to note that the Azhwars, H.H. 42nd, 43rd and 45th Jeers of Sri Ahobila Mutt had performed Mangalasasanam in the past. Recently, the 46th Azhagiya Singar had visited our temple with his dedicated team and performed Mangalasasanam, besides blessing the devotees and the people belonging to the village.
We are eagerly looking forward to the participantion of our devotees in huge numbers. We take this god-sent opportunity to solicit your cooperation. Trust, we are not denying ourselves the pleasure of welcoming you, keeping the eventful occasion in mind. We are also sending some pictures of our temple for your kind perusal, which speaks for itself.
