It is pertinent to note that a special Thirumanjanam would be held for ‘Moolavar’ and ‘Utsavar’ marking the almighty Lakshmi Narasimhar. The people from various walks of life and devotees are requested to grace the function enmass and seek the blessings of Lord Narasimhar, besides, Perumal and Thayar and other gods and goddesses. The renowned Sri Lakshmi Narayanan Thirukovil (temple) is situated at village Kappur, adjacent to Villupuram district in Tamil Nadu. On the banks of the Thenpennai river are ‘Divya Kshetrams’(holy temples) of Thirukovalur, Padhur and Parikal. For several centuries, the residents of Kappur have been worshipping at “Sri Lakshmi Narayanan Thirukovil” with renewed vigour and utmost enthusiasm. It is pertinent to note that the Azhwars, H.H. 42nd, 43rd and 45th Jeers of Sri Ahobila Mutt had performed Mangalasasanam in the past.
