Release of Srimad Srinivasa Gopala Mahadesikan Swami Shashtyabdipoorthi Special Souvenir
On the occasion of the Shashtyabdipoorthi (60th birthday) celebrations of Srimad Srinivasa Gopala Mahadesikan Swami of the Srirangam Poundarikapuram Andavan Ashram, a special souvenir published by the Paramparaa website was published. The book was released on May 6th during a Vidwat Sadas held in Srirangam, where the souvenir was unveiled by Srimad Andavan himself.
Distinguished personalities including Sri U Ve Villur Nadadur Karunakarachariar Swami, Sri U.Ve. Ananthapadmanabhachariar (APN) Swami, Sri U.Ve. E.S. Mukundan Swami, Sri U.Ve Badrinarayanan Swami, and Sri U.Ve Srinivasavaradan Swami participated in the event.
Paramparaa’s Contribution: Speaking on the occasion, U.Ve. Chakravarthi Ranganathan reiterated the mission of our Paramparaa dedicated to teaching Divya Prabandham, Stotrams while spreading the glories of our Ramanuja sampradayam. This special souvenir was brought out specifically to honor Sri Andavan Swami’s birth anniversary and remember the guru parampara and the great Acharyas who adorned the peetham. Swami also thanked Thattai Govindarajan and Sri Mukundan Swami and Sri Srinivasavaradan (Ashrama Aradhakar) who authored articles for the book.
Srimad Paravakottai Chinna Andavan offered his Mangalasasanam to everyone involved in the publication, noting that the book provides a wonderful opportunity for devotees to learn about the significance and history of the Poundarikapuram Andavan Ashram.
