Paramparaa – The Tradition Continues…

Significance of Kamika Ekadashi by Sri Sesha Bhattar

In Sanskrit, Ekadasi means 11, So Ekadasi is the 11th day of the Paksha of the month. The day is significant for devotees of Lord Narayana, who observe fast and recite slokas and perform bhajans. The day is considered auspicious as the devotees believe the Lord will bless them and fulfill all wishes if they pray on the day. Many perform Satyanarayana Vrata Puja on this day. People recite Vishnu Sahasra Namam and Narayaneeyam on this auspicious day. Kamika Ekadashi is the Ekadashi during the Krishna Paksha of Shravana Maasa.

In our podcast, Thiruvaheendrapuram priest Sri Sesha Bhattar explains the significance of Kamika Ekadashi. Let us listen and benefit from it.
